Berger and a side order of lies

Putting Sandy Berger to the test

By Michelle Malkin  •  January 23, 2007 12:50 AM

A lie detector test.
As the FNC story points out, the document-filching Clinton aide did agree to take a polygraph test as part of a plea deal reached in September 2005. Now, some GOP lawmakers want to know why the Justice Department won’t follow through:
The Justice Department should administer a polygraph test to former National Security [...]

The report was issued more than a year after Berger pleaded guilty and received a criminal sentence for removal of the documents.
Inspector General [...]

THE NATIONAL SECURITY SCANDAL NO ONE’S TALKING ABOUT

By Michelle Malkin  •  May 5, 2005 06:29 AM

So far, the commentariat and blogosphere (both left and right sides) have been curiously quiet about the news that Pentagon official Larry Franklin was arrested for improperly passing classified information to AIPAC.
Last summer, you may recall, there was quite a bit of analysis–from colleagues I respect and admire–downplaying the case.
Despite the arrest and the gravity [...]

BERGER’S “COPIES”

By Michelle Malkin  •  April 1, 2005 07:56 AM

Both the New York Times and the Washington Post describe the five documents taken by Sandy Berger as “copies” of documents he left at the National Archives.
The Times says, “in the plea agreement reached with prosecutors, he is expected to admit that he intentionally removed copies of five classified documents…”
The Post says Berger [...]

By Michelle Malkin  •  March 31, 2005 06:53 PM

Sandy “Honestly, I had no idea how those papers got into my socks, jacket pocket, and portfolio” Berger will plead guilty to misdemeanor theft of classified documents.
My, what serendipitous timing. Just saying.

By Michelle Malkin  •  July 22, 2004 01:17 AM

Sorry to mix food metaphors here, but if this devastating Washington Post story is accurate, Sandy Berger is officially chopped liver.
And the National Archivist staffers who nabbed him in the act should win some huge Librarians of the Year awards.
Update: Legal XXX groans at the bad Berger buns puns. I’m surprised no West Coast bloggers [...]
