If this doesn’t convince you, NOTHING will: Jack Black, Morgan Freeman endorse Obama’s nuke deal with Iran

You know, this kind of show of trust could have Iran’s leaders insisting on adding a disclaimer to the traditional chant, so soon we might hear “Death to America, except the Hollywood left!”

A group of celebrities and public figures have come together in a new video to get behind the Obama administration’s nuclear deal with Iran, urging the public not to let Congress “sabotage” the agreement.

Actors Morgan Freeman and Jack Black joined forces with Queen Noor of Jordan and former US Ambassador to Israel Thomas Pickering to suggest that the result of the Iran deal falling through would have dangerous consequences.

The video was produced by Global Zero, a non-profit organization with the stated mission of “the elimination of all nuclear weapons.”

Hey, would celebs who helped promote “if you like your plan you can keep it” steer you wrong?

Both actors named above are of course very familiar with Iranian history — Morgan having starred in the 1970’s Tehran prison escape epic “The Shah-shank Redemption” and Black once played the lead in the straight-to-video “Madrese of Rock.” If that video doesn’t shift public opinion, Global Zero will take the nuclear option (pardon the expression) and have President Obama record an episode of “Between Two Mushroom Clouds” with Zach Galifianakis.

Queen Noor said in the video that the deal “gives the international community unprecedented access to verify that Iran is keeping up its end of the bargain.” “International community” defined as “not the U.S. or any other country who hadn’t already had normal diplomatic relations with Iran.”
